The food here was awesome. We started with the calamari and the spicy yellowtail, and both were fantastic. The sushi was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was beautiful. The restaurant had a modern, upscale feel without being intimidating. The service was excellent as well. Everything came out quickly, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and helped us make great decisions when ordering. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Iβve been here a few times and have watched the restaurant change over the years. I feel the lunch menu prices are a bit high especially compared to the lack of protein you receive. The sushi specials are your typical classics like the California roll or spicy tuna roll- which is minced up with sriracha (not what I consider nice, but I guess typical). I was excited to hear they now offer a happy menu from 3-5 pm. Wines are a good deal at this time. Sushi rolls, again are typical but for under $7, ok. Apps are priced well but it seems ridiculous to charge $1 to βadd flavorβ of salt and garlic to edamame. Also, Kawa please stop being cheap and provide your business adequate streaming services. There is 1 TV here (which is fine because itβs not a sports bar), but I know your other restaurant is using the same streaming network and itβs causing this location to be booted off the service. If you are going to make me pay $1 for salt, at least let me watch FIFA- while I sit alone at the bar. π (I would love to see you pull more of a crowd in here)

The food was really really good, no complaints regarding the flavor of the meal. My issue is that the lunch special (roughly $13) could be cheaper for the amount of meat you get (or lack there of). While I was writing this review I ended up looking back at the lunch special meal and realized I also never got a soup. Next time I go here I will try to eat in person during dinner and update my review. Maybe I just got a bad experience but I think the flavor and quality is great enough to come back and the location is a big plus.

Amazing sushi experience. The gyozas were also tasty and a good portion. We were satisfied with the sushi rolls. I found it interesting that we didnβt get ginger or wasabi but it is okay, not that it is needed anyway. I recommend this place.

We got to go orders, and the service was so great! Didn't take long for the food, either. We both got birria ramen and we shared an order of the soy garlic gyoza. To start, the birria ramen was great! Please only get if you like spicy food, though. Our only complaint was the noodles... they were sticky and came in a container outside of the brother and wouldn't fall apart in the broth. 6/10. The soy garlic gyoza was hands down the best gyoza I have ever had. Perfectly crispy, sweet, and savory. Packed with flavor! 10/10. Parking is hard to find to visit this wonderful place, but if you can find a spot, you won't be disappointed with the service, atmosphere, or food. I would definitely recommend Kawa to all. Please note: my ramen photos shown don't have all the broth in the bowl yet - it comes with a good amount :)
